Silolona — The Iconic Heritage Phinisi

A 50-metre classic phinisi handcrafted by Sulawesi’s master Konjo builders, sailing Indonesia in timeless heritage style.

About the Yacht

The Yacht That Defined an Era

SILOLONA is the vessel that defined the luxury phinisi era. Conceived by pioneering charter visionary Patti Seery and brought to life in 2004 by the master Konjo boatbuilders of South Sulawesi, she is a faithful, hand-built tribute to the great Indonesian trading schooners that once carried spices across the archipelago. At roughly 50 metres of solid ironwood and teak, every timber was joined by hand to honour centuries of seafaring tradition. Antique textiles, tribal art and museum-quality craftsmanship fill her decks and saloons, making each voyage as much a cultural journey as a sailing one.Today SILOLONA carries just ten guests in five private suites, blending the soul of old Indonesia with the comfort and service of a private yacht as she cruises Komodo, Raja Ampat and the legendary Banda Sea.
